Welcome to Pooch Therapy

It starts with a wag, a happy nuzzle, and that unmistakable Terrier sparkle or gentle Labrador grin. These wonderful dogs have a special way of lifting spirits and filling every room with warmth, laughter, and comfort. Whether you’ve loved Terriers and Labradors for years or you’re just discovering their charm, you’ll quickly realise they’re more than pets — they’re family, full of personality, affection, and heart-melting moments.

About Us

We share our lives with a wonderful team of dogs, gorgeous, friendly Labradors and cheeky, funny little terriers, each with their own big personality.

They live with us in the beautiful Newark countryside, growing up in a loving home environment and enjoying lots of human interaction every day. People are truly their favourite thing in the world

Private Events

We bring well-socialised dogs or puppies who are learning important socialisation skills to your workplace, home, or private venue, creating a calm, joyful space for connection, cuddles, and relaxation.

Adults

We are available to visit care homes, therapeutic settings, schools, and educational or wellbeing facilities, bringing calm, comfort, and plenty of smiles.

Our Lakeland Terriers are a stunning breed — small, happy, and full of character — affectionate little cuddle monsters who love nothing more than being close to people.

Eris, Molly, Tag, and Midge are all waggy, cheerful girls who adore fuss and cuddles.

Alongside them, our team of Labradors are gentle, steady, and enthusiastic visitors, always ready to offer a friendly nuzzle or a comforting presence.
